Life Goals

Life Goals – If a person is going on a lifelong trip, one has to have some attractions that he or she wants to see.  These are the things that will make up your Life List or Life Goals.  These are the things that a person wants to do while he or she is living.  We heard it call the bucket list or things to do before we die list, but we will call it the Life List because that is what it is.  The individual is going to check off events as he or she does them.  This is the fun part!

I can remember being in the mortgage industry when things took off.  We could do no wrong, so we thought.  Life was incredible!  My Life List was long and filled with an impressive list of things to do.  I not only had my Life List, but I had reminders all over the place to remind me to do things.  For example, I kept a picture of the Eiffel Tower on my computer to remind me to plan a trip to Paris.  My list was aggressive with things like the Super Bowl, NBA Finals, World Series and the Grammys.  Not only did I go to all those events, I remember my friend from Hawaii calling me because Madonna was playing in Los Angeles and she wanted to see her.  I told her that I did not want to see a Madonna concert.  She then said to me that it was on her Life List.  After that, how could I refuse? So I bought tickets, and we all went to the concert.  I remember telling someone that life must be incredible if I am doing things on my friend’s Life List.

The main point is that in making that list, we all knew what we wanted in life.  So when life presented an opportunity to us, we not only knew it was an opportunity, we knew we had to take advantage of it.  That is the whole purpose of the Life List; to remind one of the things that they want to do because sometimes, life is so busy, we need a list!
